Heritage Reformed Church meets for Worship each Lord’s Day at Waymart Presbyterian Church, Belmont Street & South Street, Waymart, PA 18472. Side entrance off South Street.

Ample parking is available on South St. or in the parking lot of Wayside Park across Belmont St. from the Church.

Sunday Worship Service: 10:30 AM

Our worship is in accordance with the New Testament practice in which the reading and preaching of God’s word are the central elements. The prayers, hymns and offerings of the congregation are necessary responses to God’s word. The Scriptures teach us that God seeks those who worship him in Spirit and in truth. Accordingly, we are called to worship God in an orderly manner, “with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.” Worship is to be carried out according to God’s commandments and not according to the commandments of men. Sunday School Classes: 9:45 AM 

Classes for adults and children are held every Sunday Morning, September through May.  Sunday School provides opportunities for those attending to grow in their faith and to encourage one another in the Lord. Our hope is that we will “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:182 Peter 3:18

Children are a precious gift from the Lord. At Heritage, we seek to equip and build up the children God has entrusted to our care through Bible lessons, memory verses and review of catechism questions and answers. Catechism instruction summarizes essential truths of the Christian faith in question-and-answer form.

Lord’s Supper and Fellowship Luncheon

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Lord’s Day of each month.  If you are a member in good standing of an orthodox Protestant Church, you are invited to partake with us.  Please contact Elder Dan Wright before the Worship Service for a brief interview to confirm eligibility.

Ladies’ Study 

We aim to strengthen the friendships of women in the church as we grow in our knowledge and understanding of Scripture. The Ladies meet the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM to study a book together.  The Ladies are currently studying Our Heavenly Shepherd by Ian Hamilton.
